RE: HTTP Authentication error

OK, to summise your problem.

The 5 servers are setup the same but 2 of them behave differently?

When these 2 servers exhibit the behaviour, restarting the HTTP task resolves the issue?

If simply restarting the task fixes it, then it's unlikely to be a config issue. The config doesn't change between restarts. So this kinda looks like a localised corruption. You've done the magic "updall -R" without success.

Questions for you...

1) Are the servers in a Domino cluster?
2) Do you use web clustering/ICM at all?
3) Is single sign-on or similar in use?
4) What session time-outs are in place?
5) Are all users affected when the problem occurs or just certain users?
6) Are you using http or https?
